Jobs for Homeless People has helped
over 8,000 people in the DC Metro area get off the
streets and on with their lives at an average cost
of only $900 per person - less than the annual cost
of a daily latte at Starbucks. Our education, substance
abuse counseling, and job training programs give people
the tools they need achieve self-sufficiency.

our work possible! Since 2001 JHP's government funding
has been cut by a third, at the same time the need
for our services is increasing. JHP's success depends
